Synchrotron SAXS data from solutions of Nucleosome Core Particle in 20 mM Tris-Cl, 0.1 mM EDTA, 0.1 mM DTT, 50% sucrose, 1.9 M NaCl, pH 7.5 were collected on the 18ID beam line at the Advanced Photon Source (APS), Argonne National Laboratory (Lemont, IL, USA) using a Pilatus 100K detector at a sample-detector distance of 2.5 m and at a wavelength of λ = 0.125 nm (I(s) vs s, where s = 4π sin θ/λ and 2θ is the scattering angle). One solute concentration of 2.00 mg/ml was measured at 20°C through a time-course spanning 50 ms to 10 s (with a 50 ms delay time). The data displayed in this entry represent the scattering after 50 ms; the remaining data from the time series can be located in the full-entry zip archive.

From the depositor: "Protein signal is blanked out in 50% sucrose, only DNA contributes to the scattering. Hence, the SAXS profile reports the Rg and molecule weight of the DNA in the nucleosome core particle complex."
