Synchrotron SAXS data from solutions of Fowlpox Virus FPV039 antiapoptotic Bcl-2 viral protein in complex with BaK BH3 peptide in 20 mM trisodium citrate, 200 mM NaCl, pH 6.0 were collected on the SAXS/WAXS beam line at the Australian Synchrotron (Melbourne, Australia) using a Pilatus 1M detector at a sample-detector distance of 1.6 m (I(s) vs s, where s = 4πsinθ/λ and 2θ is the scattering angle). Solute concentrations ranging between 0.31 to 7.35 mg/ml were measured. 30 successive 1 second frames were collected. The data were normalized to the intensity of the transmitted beam and radially averaged; the scattering of the solvent-blank was subtracted. The low angle data collected were obtained from a single concentration scattering curve (7.35 mg/ml scattering data).
