SAXS data from solutions of Calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase type II (CaMKII) subunit holoenzyme with Exon 18 as the linker region + 2000 nM Ca2+/CaM in 50 mM Tris , 0.2 mM CaCl2, 150 mM KCl, 10 mM MgCl2, 2 mM ATP, pH 8 were collected on the Rigaku/BioSAXS-2000 SAXS instrument (Institute for Applied Life Sciences/Biophysical Characterization, Amherst, United States) using a DECTRIS/ PILATUS 100K detector at a sample-detector distance of 0.4 m and at a wavelength of λ = 0.154 nm (I(s) vs s, where s = 4πsinθ/λ, and 2θ is the scattering angle). One solute concentration of 1.50 mg/ml was measured at 22°C. One 600 second frame was collected. The data were normalized to the intensity of the transmitted beam and radially averaged; the scattering of the solvent-blank was subtracted.
