Double-acylated variant of a genetic fusion comprising the C-terminal folding scaffold of RTX block V (residues 1562–1681 of CyaA) and the CyaA residues 719–1294

RTX719 protein
Organism: Bordetella pertussis
Monomeric molecular weight: 78.0 kDa
Oligomeric state: Monomer
Total molecular weight: 78.0 kDa
Sequence:

Derived from adenylate cyclase toxin, the protein spans from residue 719 to 17006, harboring a deletion in the RTX domain (residues 1295-1561, inclusive). Recombinant protein, expressed in Escherichia coli, with two acyl modifications in positions K149, K272, which correspond to residues 860 and 983 of CyaA respectively. The monomers of the protein were obtained by molecular confinement in Sephadex 200 10/300. The monomers are stable and do not aggregate. The sample was concentrated using centricon cutoff 10kDa.
