Derived from adenylate cyclase toxin, the protein spans from residue 719 to 17006, harboring a deletion in the RTX domain (residues 1295-1561, inclusive). Recombinant protein, expressed in Escherichia coli in absence of the dedicated acyl transferase, hence it is produced in a nonacylated form. The monomers of the protein were obtained by molecular confinement in Sephadex 200 10/300. The monomers are stable and do not aggregate. The sample was concentrated using centricon cutoff 10kDa.
