Yeast Npl3 is a serine/arginine-rich mRNA binding protein comprises two tandem RRMs (RNA recognition motifs). SAXS measurement was performed with the 120-280 amino acid construct of Npl3 which comprises tandem RRMs where the linker connecting to RRM1 and RRM2 is mutated at P196D & A197D positions.
