C-terminal fragment of Collagen alpha-3(VI) chain with R2609A and R2610A mutations to abolish cleavage by furin protease. Collagen VI acts as a cell-binding protein. The protein construct used for SAXS contains an additional non-native N-terminal amino acid extension (ETGDYKDDDDKGGGGSGGGGS), plus additional point mutations relative to the canonical sequence in UniProt (D2357R, K2367R, D2431V, R2441T).
